Batesville, IN, January 11, 2023 – In December 2021, the Rising Sun Regional Foundation awarded Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) a $9,300 grant toward renovating a portion of its George St. office.
This renovation would allow CMHC to convert a group room into two therapists’ offices, in order to allow for the hiring of two new therapists.
The construction portion of the renovation was just completed in November 2022, by P&P Construction. Next steps on the project are for CMHC to furnish the offices and begin the hiring process for the two new therapists.
This funding from the Rising Sun Regional Foundation allowed for the addition of much needed space for therapists and will enable CMHC to better serve the community in that it increases the capacity for services.
