Outpatient Mental Health
The goal of outpatient mental health services is to help people cope with current stressors in order to minimize the impact on their daily lives. CMHC offers a variety of services for individuals, groups and families consisting of assessments, testing, evaluations, and psychiatric services, as well as individual, family and group therapy. CMHC professionals (master’s level therapists, psychologists, nurse practitioners and psychiatrists) will help you to find the best program for you after the initial appointment. Outpatient services are offered in Lawrenceburg, St. Leon, Brookville, Batesville and Vevay.
Substance Use Services
Services are based on the philosophy that substance use issues must be addressed in an individualized manner with assessment to determine the possible presence of mental health issues. Services are primarily offered in outpatient offices but can be integrated into any of our other programs.
Our Inpatient Unit is a 16 bed unit located in Lawrenceburg to provide a safe and therapeutic environment for those dealing with a crisis and symptom stabilization that cannot otherwise be treated in the community. The unit has 24 hour nursing staff, social services, activity therapy, medical staff and psychiatry.
CASE: Community Assisted Supported Employment and Ticket to Work (Employment)
The goal of CASE is to assist people ages 16 and over to obtain and/or maintain gainful, competitive employment of their choice. CASE operates with the belief that anyone can work if they so desire and are provided with the tools to help them find, get and keep a job. Vocational specialists serve people throughout Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio.
